NRW has a long association with Pilbara iron ore producers.

In the resources sector, it has been awarded a subcontract for drill and blast services at BHP's South Flank project in Western Australia's Pilbara region.

Its Action Drill & Blast subsidiary has been granted the $11 million scope of works for around eight months.

It is an expansion of a 15-month, $176 million contract the Big Australian awarded NRW as part of the new US$3.4 billion iron ore mine in July for bulk earthworks and concrete works for the overland conveyors and primary crushers as well as ancillary works relating to non-process infrastructure.

The award continues a long standing association between NRW and BHP.
