With two-thirds of the 2009 samples assessed from the RC drilling of 29 holes, better hits to date have included 2m at 67.2 grams per tonne from 27m and 8m at 23.1gpt from 87m.
The true width of the mineralisation is unknown, with the Albury Heath prospect centred on the namesake historic gold mine that from 1948 to 1957 yielded 2204 ounces at an average head grade of 47.8gpt.
The current resource at the prospect totals 390,000 tonnes grading 2.15gpt for 27,000oz, with the recent drilling targeting the southwestern edge of the deposit.
"These are pleasing results in that previous drilling indicated some of the areas previously drilled were devoid of any significant gold grades," the company said.
