Damsel encouraging Rox with gold promise

Junior believes area has serious system potential

Results today were highlighted by 18m at 7 grams per tonne gold from 69m from Damsel, with immediate follow up planned.

Damsel is located within a 1km long gold anomaly (in regolith) defined by grades greater than 1gpt gold, with the area part of a broader 7km long gold anomaly (grading more than 0.2gpt).

"Gold anomalism of this scale has the potential to reflect a large primary gold system," Rox said.

The gold belt at Mt Fisher (and Mt Eureka) is 40km east of the Yandal belt that hosts the multi-million ounce Jundee and Bronzewing deposits.

Rox holds 100% of 500sq.km of ground in the region (including Damsel) and has a joint venture with Cullen Resources covering another 350sqkm.

Rox says much of the past exploration in the belt has principally been surface geochemistry and shallow RAB drilling which highlighted strong gold anomalism but did not adequately test primary basement mineralisation.

Rox's work at Mt Fisher-Mt Eureka comes as it continues exploration and mine study work at Youanmi, a 70/30 joint venture with Venus Metals Corp.

Shares in Rox were up up 4% to A40c in afternoon trade.

Rox started the quarter with $6.9 million cash.
