A successful Orange-based exploration company focused on future facing minerals in central-west NSW currently seeks to appoint an Exploration Manager. In this newly created role, you'll take leadership of the high calibre exploration team and run point on the company's greenfields Cu-Au projects.
Key accountabilities will include planning & execution of field programs including geophysics, geochem and drilling programs, ensuring QAQC, structural interpretation, mentoring & leadership of the exploration team, consultant & contractor engagement, reporting & compliance, and more.
Based in Orange, you'll enjoy the cool climate high on the range, surrounded by a rapidly expanding food & wine scene, and working Monday to Friday. Courtesy of the company's projects being located in close proximity to Orange, you'll get home almost every night. You'll enjoy working for a well-backed explorer with a highly respected Board and a team of successful exploration professionals. A lucrative remuneration package with incentives is offered and relocation assistance can be provided.
As the ideal candidate, you'll be a tertiary qualified geologist with a strong background in greenfields base/precious metals exploration (e.g. 8+ years experience) with demonstrated leadership skills at the senior or managerial level.
