Expressions of interest are sought from suitably qualified Chief Operating Officers to join an ASX Listed vertically integrated Graphite Developer with a focus on being a leading contributor in the clean energy future.
They are looking to advance to the next stage of becoming a vertically integrated battery anode material Producer through their 3 key projects. A Graphite mine development in Africa, Expandable Graphite Project (India) Battery Anode Material plant (Germany). In order to achieve this, there needs to be a further strengthening of the executive leadership team in the areas of project development through to execution and ultimate production. Hence the new position of COO.
Over the development phase of these multiple projects, the Chief Operating Officer (given proven success) could be seen as the natural succession plan to the CEO/Managing Director. We are looking for;

Previous ASX listed mine development company experience is desirable and a preference would for someone with on the ground experience in Africa

Strong interest would be for an engineering technical background in the Resources sector involved in Graphite or other battery materials and renewables with some downstream experience given the opportunity with the BAM Plant in Germany.

The COO must have the time to commit to this key role for the company. Especially during times of intense corporate activity, project development and execution. Therefore, overseas travel is required to effectively execute the various project deliverables.

This position is primarily responsible for leading the advancement of the 3 key projects in Africa, India and Germany. Providing a broad range of commercial and project development deliverables in a way that strikes an appropriate balance between commercial objectives and sensibly managing operational risk.
