Seeking the mining leaders of the future

As part of the sixth annual MNN Awards, we are seeking your nominations for the Emerging Leader of the Year.

The Emerging Leader of the Year Award, sponsored by SGS, seeks to honour the next breed of outstanding CEOs.

The Emerging Leader of the Year is a CEO or managing director who is a first-time company leader and has been in the role for 1-3 years.

The judges would also consider a member of a company's senior management team who shows all the hallmarks of being an outstanding future leader.

Like the main CEO of the Year award, the Emerging Leader of the Year nominee will have been behind outstanding company value creation over the past 12 months.

Last year's winner was Great Boulder Resources managing director Andrew Paterson.

It only takes a minute to fill out the nomination form, which can be found here.

You have until next Thursday, June 30 to nominate. Finalists will be announced in the first week of July, followed by winners later in the month.
