FAIR to say the huge Aurelia Metals turnaround saga is a bit of a mining classic for the ages, featuring the usually ruthless Glencore as a disgruntled debtor hovering over a miner in severe distress; a major mine and plant operations turnaround, and; an M&A deal that pound-for-pound, arguably blows just about every other recent deal transacted by the ASX resources sector out of the water.
