Datamine said LandTrack's versatile, intelligent, modern Asset Management System focused on protecting, managing, and tracking mineral title compliance, agreements, and environmental activities worldwide, making it the perfect addition.

Datamine is owned by Vela Industries Group.

The terms of the acquisition were not disclosed.

LandTrack general manager Rachel Whiteman said the acquisition opened up the company's solutions to a wider audience.

Already supporting more than 140 Australian mining companies - including BHP, Rio Tinto, Northern Star, Newcrest, and Mineral Resources - this collaboration will enhance our abilities enabling us to show the world the difference we can make to the mining tenure process," she said.

The acquisition comes a year after Datamine acquired Optiro.
