SCEE has been awarded further packages of works by BHP Iron Ore at its Central and Eastern Villages as part of BHP's village security project in the Pilbara.

The work includes upgrades to access, lighting, and monitoring systems with completion due by the end of June.

CPB Contractors awarded SCEE an electrical and instrumentation package of works on BHP's Nelson Point port debottlenecking project.

SCEE's scope covers both brownfields and greenfields locations, with on-site assembly, installation, and construction verification of all electrical and instrumentation components in the nominated work packs.

The works are scheduled to begin next month and are due for completion in the second quarter of 2023.

"I am pleased we continue to win work in WA's iron ore sector which has been a very strong area for us in recent times," SCEE managing director Graeme Dunn said.

"In my belief, to have won significant further works on the villages upgrades demonstrates how well our businesses around the SCEE Group are working together in delivering this multi-technology solution."

SCEE employs more than 2000 people and has a record order book of $550 million.

Resources is its largest sector and its other clients include Rio Tinto and Albemarle.

It recently reaffirmed FY22 guidance of revenue of circa $500 million and EBITDA of $29-33 million.

Southern Cross has a market capitalisation of $162.4 million.
