New and expanded drill and blast contracts

In the east, it has expanded its 15-year relationship with Evolution Mining at Cowal in New South Wales, and struck up a relationship with the new owner of Evolution's Mt Carlton operations in Queensland.
 
At Cowal, it has extended its contract to provide specialist drill and blast services, RC grade control drilling, and geotechnical ground support services for another two years.
 
SRG will continue perform the same grade control and drill and blast services at Mt Carlton for Navarre Minerals until 2024.
 
Navarre took ownership of Mt Carton in October.
 
In the west, Red 5 has tapped SRG to provide drill and blast services and explosives supply for its Great Western satellite operations for the next six months.
 
Managing director David Macgeorge said he hoped to develop fruitful relationships with Navarre Minerals and Red 5.
 
SRG has now secured some $471 million in work since mid-November across multiple sectors, including a $150 million contract to provide drill and blast to SIMEC Mining's iron ore operations in South Australia over five years.
 
Macgeorge said SRG was keen to expand its mining services division.
 
SRG shares were last traded at 53c, below its peak of 59c.
