An option over ground covering 392sq.km has been signed, with the tenure said to be "highly prospective for intrusion-related and orogenic gold, porphyry gold-copper-molybdenum and rare earth elements".

Limited exploration drilling has been undertaken on the ground over the past 40 years, according to Sunshine.

Stavely's focus is in Victoria.

Sunshine holds the Triumph, Hodgkinson and Investigator exploration prospects in Queensland, and had cash at the start of the quarter of $4.6 million.

The company's managing director is Damien Keys, a geologist who previously led teams at Spectrum Metals, Black Cat Syndicate, Silver Lake Resources and Gold Fields.

Sunshine is a re-boot of the old Pelican Resources.

Shares in Sunshine have recently traded at 6.8c, capitalising the company at $30 million.
