ECHO Resources has added some sizeable slabs of gold ground to its tenement holdings in the Yandal Belt of Western Australia as it awaits metallurgical testwork results this month from its mainstay Julius deposit.

Four tenements covering 215 square kilometres and containing established resources of more than 30,000 ounces plus historic workings.

The ground was acquired from Sorrento Resources in a transaction structured broadly similar to those prospector Mark Creasy has been cutting with listed companies in Western Australia in recent years.

While there is no indication Creasy is in any way associated with Sorrento – and MNN was unable to confirm who-is with Echo’s CEO Simon Coxhell out in the field – the Creasy name is synonymous with these parts given his discovery of Bronzewing back in the 1990s.

Echo now has in the order of 1000 sq.km of ground in the Yandal belt.
