Cleveland-Cliffs buys into Qld coal

US-based iron player Cleveland-Cliffs has expanded its Australian interests into coal, forking out $A140 million for a 45% interest in the Sonoma coal project in Queensland's upper Bowen Basin from privately owned Australian coal company QCoal.
