Newmont to buy AngloGold's Boddington stake

NEWMONT Mining will take sole ownership of the Boddington gold mine in Western Australia after inking an agreement to buy AngloGold Ashanti's 33.33% interest in the project for up to $US1.1 billion ($A1.7 billion).
