David Harquail: Mining royalty

Mining Journal managed to snare a meeting with Franco-Nevada chief executive David Harquail during the Mines and Money Americas conference in Toronto last month. The chat took place in Harquail’s office, in the upper levels of CIBC Tower within Canada’s financial heart. This seemed appropriate given that Franco, capitalised at over US$11 billion and with a resources portfolio comprising 340 assets, has helped finance projects for many companies in the neighbouring towers.
