Letter to Crosscut Clyde - Bring on suppliers awards

I’VE just read <i>Crosscut Clyde</i> and I couldn't agree more. Working for a supplier organisation for many years and having just attended Diggers & Dealers in Kalgoorlie, I can't get over just how unappreciative the mining industry is about its suppliers.

There's almost a curse of the supplier in action when the mining company "executives" (and I use that term rather cynically) walk around the Diggers exhibition hall and turn their noses up at the stands...
