Rio Tinto chooses Kwinana for Hismelt plant location

RIO Tinto Iron Ore has chosen Kwinana in Western Australia as the preferred location for a semi-commercial version of its HIsmelt pig iron plant. Funding for the A$400 million facility is yet to be approved, though, with the board expected to consider it late this calender year.
