Cost of Sovereign's multi-decade Kasiya rutile-graphite development jumps

SOVEREIGN Metals has pointed out the headline 60% increase in the capital cost of the Kasiya rutile-graphite project in Malawi to nearly US$600 million is due to bringing forward capital items previously planned for the second stage including a rail spur, full-scale water dam, integrated power and optimised graphite production, as well as generally enhanced engineering and global cost inflation.
