The combined Alaska Range resource for the Caribou Dome and Zackly deposits is now 11.2 million tonnes containing 269,000t of copper, 213,000 ounces of gold and 3.1 million ounces silver.

The new estimate for Caribou Dome is 7.2Mt at 3.1% copper and 6.5gpt silver from surface to 300m depth.

Both deposits should get bigger, PolarX suggested.

PolarX, which is also exploring for gold in Nevada, will be looking at its funding options given only A$1.7 million cash at the end of March.

The junior has been involved in Caribou Dome since late 2014.

Shares in PolarX were trading at 1.3c this week, capitalising the company at $19 million.
