COPPER miner Aeris Resources has had promising drill success at its Murrawombie mine in New South Wales, with strong copper hits recorded 60m beyond the current mineral resource envelope and two holes now being drilled 150m along strike and 190m down-plunge.

While the copper price is a bit gloomy at the moment, operations at Tritton in NSW are tracking solidly, with successful exploration offering upside at Murrawombie

The best mineralised intervals included 6.25m grading 4.64% copper and 12.75m at 3.62% copper.

Murrawombie has current resources of 5.4 million tonnes grading 1.5% copper.
