Encounter-Newcrest alliance expands central Australian holdings

NEWECREST Mining made a splash this week with a “measured” entry into the Red Chris copper-gold mine in Canada, and today it has indicated that it really likes what it sees with the early stage exploration efforts it had made in Western Australia’s Tanami and Arunta regions with minnow Encounter Resources.
