NOT a great day for the base metal miners and a bit of bad luck for Sandfire to be reporting first concentrate production from its new operation in Botswana after an LME session when copper fell below US$8000/t. Speaking of copper, investors were especially unkeen on 29Metals in the wake of its reduced guidance following weather events in Qld earlier this year.
