Nickel Mines raises half-a-billion in equity in past six months

HAVING raised more than A$200 million in new equity six months ago, growth stock Nickel Mines is putting its hands out for another $364 million as it begins its US$490 million acquisition of a 70% stake in 36,000t per annum of nickel pig iron from the budding Angel nickel project within the China-owned Indonesia Weda Bay Industrial Park.

Nickel Mines has been in hot demand of late

The new shares are being priced at A94c each, with the last slab of equity raised back in June pricing shares at 50c.
