Optimism lifts advanced gold explorers

With gold hitting a six-year high overnight at US$1560 per ounce, and Aussie gold still hanging around between A$2284/oz there was a degree of interest in gold stocks, with Venus Metals Corporation up 24% off some good gold results at its Currans Find, and Eastern Goldfields player Bardoc Gold continuing its recent run, up almost 10%.
