Fosterville produced 61,500 ounces of gold in the September quarter, down from the record 77,100oz in the June quarter, but still up 66% year-on-year.
The reason for the quarter-on-quarter drop was a fall in the average head grade from a record 17.2 grams per tonne gold to 14.1gpt gold.
Recoveries remained at the record 94.7% seen in the June quarter.
KL reported group production of 139,100oz of gold in the September quarter, up 4% year-on-year.
KL president and CEO Tony Makuch said the company’s mines had all performed well in the September quarter.
