DE BEERS has launched a full technical investigation of the Hearne, 5034 and Tuzo kimberlites on its Gahcho Kue project, 300km east-northeast of Yellowknife, as it follows BHP Billiton and Rio Tinto in trying to bring a Canadian diamond project into operation.
