Ok Tedi's 'best year' ever

OK TEDI Mining returned an after-tax profit of more than 1.88 million kina ($A828,750) for 2006 from its namesake operation in Papua New Guinea, an improvement of almost 80% on 2005, and has developed a mine waste and tailings project, to herald the mine's "best performance in its 25-year history".
