The merger is nearing completion and the new entity will be targeting first gold production in 2015 under Lambert’s leadership.

Alan Mulgrew and Jay Wacher have resigned as directors of Atlantic.

The company said it would appoint two new independent non-executive directors as part of its transition to producer.

Finally, South American Iron & Steel Corporation has appointed Don Weintraub to the board as a non-executive director.
