Feds should bail out Hunter smelter employees: Hartcher

THE federal government should save the 344 jobs at the Kurri Kurri aluminium smelter and the 100 jobs lost earlier this year at the Tomago smelter in New South Wales, state Resources and Energy Minister Chris Hartcher says.
