Confusion surrounds Norilsk nickel deliveries

LONDON metal dealers are reported by <i>Platts Commodity News</i> to be at odds over whether Russia’s Norilsk Nickel will deliver the outstanding metal from its 60,000 tonne stockpile to the London Metal Exchange where inventories have hit a six month low.

Norilsk has previously said it would release the final tranche of the stockpile to the LME, though it is unclear how much of the metal has made it to the exchange and how much has gone directly to customers....
