China's major coal producers take home US$240m

CHINA’S 32 major coal companies recorded a combined profit of US$240 million (2 billion yuan) in the first eight months of the year, according to the state-owned Assets Supervision and Administration Commission.

Business Daily reported the combined profit was up 39.6% year-on-year, with total industrial output value up to 14.7% to US$3.38 billion.
