Copper up, stocks mixed

THE spot price of copper has continued its recovery from its low of $7057 per tonne from May 25, its lowest levels since March, gaining an additional 2.5% or $185 to $7725/t in overnight trading on the London Metal Exchange. Despite this, copper stocks had a mixed session, with some standouts – Oxiana and Aditya Birla especially – spicing up <I>Final Call’s</I> red metal watch list.
