Downward projection for zinc

ZINC prices are set to fall further according to banking group Investec, which said this view is also held by many market analysts. Mine restarts and commissioning of smaller or mid-size operations will boost global zinc output by nearly 1 million tonnes next year and reduce the metal’s price to around $US1300 per tonne. The spot price is currenlty at $3558.50/t on the London Metal Exchange. Below is how zinc stocks fared on <I>Final Call’s</I> watchlist.
