Lynas to focus on Mt Weld after board resigns

AFTER 15 years on the board of Lynas Corporation, Les Emery has resigned in favour of a raft of new directors who will increase the company's focus on its Mt Weld rare earths project.

The new board, consisting of chairman Nick Curtis, Colin Loosemore, Brian Davidson and Andrew Lupton, have recently acquired 19.2% of Lynas and assumed control of the company, effective immediately.
