Torlach hangs up his hard hat

AFTER a career in the mining industry spanning nearly half a century, 17 years of which have been with the Western Australia Department of Minerals and Energy, WA state mining engineer Jim Torlach is hanging up his hard hat and ditching his steel cap boots.
