Anaconda says Murrin Murrin is back on track

ANACONDA Nickel Ltd says improving production tonnages and falling operating costs posted in the last quarter are evidence that its troubled Murrin Murrin nickel laterite mine in Western Australia has turned the corner.

  The mine produced 6154t of nickel and 390t of cobalt in the quarter ended June 30 and July production levels have been "exceptional". The result means Murrin Murrin's production for the 2000-2001...
