Rio targets 50% iron ore expansion

FOR the first time, Rio Tinto Iron Ore has announced the range that it will be targeting in regards to the expansion of its Pilbara iron ore operations in Western Australia, with the miner looking at eventually producing between 300 million tonnes and 320Mt of iron ore a year.
