Perilya set to hike up zinc output

DIVERSIFIED miner Perilya has approved the $A18 million development of the underground Potosi zinc-lead mine near its Broken Hill operations, with the mine expected to contribute an additional 35,000 tonnes of zinc per annum to the company’s production profile by 2009.
