Ivernia declares force majeure on lead sales

IVERNIA subsidiary Magellan Metals has placed the Wiluna lead mine on care and maintenance, declared force majeure on lead sales contracts and laid off three-quarters of its work force as the Western Australian Government begins investigations into the lead contamination crisis gripping the town of Esperance.
