The opportunity

The JKTech Pty Ltd Board is now seeking to appoint a new CEO for the organisation. This unique and exciting career opportunity involves shaping and leading JKTech to deliver innovative world class solutions to existing and new customers around the world.

This global CEO role is based in Brisbane, reports to the Board of JKTech and, with the support of strong and experienced management, leads a growing team of exceptional consultants, technicians and technology transfer specialists. This role represents an opportunity to build upon JKTech’s capabilities as the preeminent provider of resources industry technical solutions and operational leadership support around the world.

The person

We are seeking an experienced CEO who can lead JKTech, its people and partners to successfully secure and deliver significant customer operations’ improvements through technical excellence and innovative technology transfer.

Essential capability and requirements for the role include:

 

  • The ability to shape JKTech and its culture in a way which optimizes performance and sustains engagement of its people and other key stakeholders

     

  • Proven track record, experience and strong relationships within the resources industry in operations or services, combined with a deep understanding and knowledge of commercial and business management activities

     

  • High level skills in communication and collaboration and ability to effectively integrate the work of industry technical specialists, consultants and researchers

     

  • Ability to open doors, connect with people at the right level in the industry and research sectors to secure opportunities for JKTech to deliver value to customers and other stakeholders

     

  • An extensive network in the resources industry and research sector will be highly regarded as will a background which includes the successful commercialisation of technology.
