SQM sees soaring lithium demand, but lower prices

CHILEAN chemicals company Sociedad Quimaca y Minera de Chile (SQM) is forecasting a 17% demand increase for lithium in 2019, however, new supplies coming on stream will probably erode the price a further 20% by the second half of the year.
