BHP awarded the company a contract for the replacement of Car Dumper 3 (CD3) at the Nelson Point facility in Port Hedland.

CD3 was commissioned in 1998. The new CD3 has a design life of 30 years and is intended to fit in the existing concrete vault with minimal structural modifications.

Procurement activities for this project are underway, with fabrication commencing in the first quarter of FY23 and completion of fabrication in the fourth quarter of FY23.

Civmec has been awarded two contracts by Roy Hill.

The company has been awarded structural, mechanical, piping and electrical works for the ROM4 Crusher 5 project at the Roy Hill mine, 115km north of Newman.

The same team working on the current wet high-intensity magnetite separator project will transition to the ROM4 project in the fourth quarter of FY23.

Civmec has also been awarded an extension to the Roy Hill shutdown and maintenance support services agreement for an additional five years to March 2027.

The company also won a contract with Subsea 7 for subsea structures on the Woodside-operated Scarborough project.

"These new contracts demonstrate the Company's track record of delivering for its clients," Civmec CEO Patrick Tallon said.

"We are very pleased to secure this work and are committed to maintaining our long-standing client relationships."

Civmec shares last traded at 62c, valuing the company at $311.5 million.
