MACA wins MAC contract

MINING services firm MACA has inked a framework agreement with Pilbara iron ore giant BHP to provide crushing and screening services in the region.

MACA will deliver crushing at MAC.

The work package will consist of crushing and screening services of up to 12 million tonnes per annum of lump and fines at Mining Area C from October.
 
The contract term is for three years plus two one-year extension options, and will utilise both new and existing crushing equipment. 
 
With additional minor works being undertaken in the Pilbara, the combined value of these works is expected to generate revenues up to A$27.5 million per annum, MACA said today.
 
MACA managing director Chris Tuckwell said he looked forward to a long-standing relationship with BHP.
