PREDICTIVE Discovery has reported attractive infill and extensional drill results at the dominant 3.9 million ounce NE Bankan deposit in Guinea as 10 rigs bore away.

Drilling at Bankan

The results included 48m at 5.2 grams per tonne gold from 216m and 43m at 4.9gpt from 304m, while deeper down the company recorded 30m grading 3.4gpt from 669m and 14m at 2.9gpt from 727m.

The rigs currently on site comprise four diamond core units, two multipurpose diamond/reverse circulation machines plus one RC, one aircore and two power auger drills.

The big campaign includes various resource development and exploration programs.

A scoping study is targeted to be completed at the end of next year.

Predictive believes the overall Bankan project will be West Africa's next tier-one gold mine.

The company completed an A$55 million raising last month that priced new shares at 18c each.

Shares in Predictive were up 10.5% to 21c in early trade, capitalising the company at $358 million.
