MINERAL Commodities have reported a maiden reserve for the Traelen graphite deposit at the Skaland operation in Norway, taking another step in its plan to develop an underground mine and become Europe's first vertically integrated producer of natural graphite anode material.

The 640,000t grading 24.8% TGC equates to 159,000t of contained graphite, while a resource of 1.8 million tonnes grading 23.6% TGC has also been estimated, equating to 434,000t of contained graphite.
