Red 5 bulks up King of the Hills

EMERGING Western Australian gold miner Red 5 has boosted the size of its King of the Hills deposit, 30km outside the town of Leonora, to 4.07 million ounces, an additional 1Moz in indicated and inferred resources, and more of the resource suitable for cheaper open-cut mining techniques.

Indicated resources are now 3.01Moz, 74% of the total, and are available for conversion to reserves as the company works on completing its feasibility study in the September quarter.
