OceanaGold says brownfields drilling over the past nine months are expected to add more low-cost gold ounces to the Haile mine plan, in South Carolina

Since the last exploration update on November 8, 2017, the company has drilled 100 drill holes for a combined 26,149m at Haile using four surface diamond drills. OceanaGold reported several intercepts of note, including strong mineralisation within, or next to current pit designs. These intercepts included 46.6m grading 4.94 grams per tonne gold between Ledbetter and Snake; 32.3m grading 10.14gpt at the Mill Zone; 77.7m grading 4.04gpt at the upper Ledbetter target; 21.3m grading 4.51gpt at Red Hill; and 45.1m grading 1.17gpt between the Mill Zone and Mustang.
