AVZ unveils "world class" Manono lithium resource

AVZ Minerals says it will fast-track feasibility work after claiming its maiden resource estimate establishes the 60%-owned Manono project in Democratic Republic of Congo as containing "the world's largest hard rock spodumene deposit" with the second highest grade.

Manono's Roche Dure pegmatite has been reported as containing 259.9 million tonnes grading 1.63% lithium oxide "within approximately 50% of the total strike [of about 2km] of the Roche Dure pegmatite"....
