Karonie cutback adds reserves for Silver Lake

SILVER Lake Resources has substantially increased reserves at a third mining hub east southeast of Kalgoorlie, with a maiden estimate for Karonie of 87,000 ounces taking reserves at the now being mined Aldiss mining centre past 200,000oz.

The ounces will be mined via a cutback of the 1990s-mined Karonie pit to a depth of 145m, with mining in the Aldiss area already underway at Harry's Hill (and plans in place to mine French Kiss too). ...
