Recent hits at Kollo South have included 13 metres grading 9 grams per tonne gold from 174m, with Vital’s drilling targeting mineralisation at drill depths of 150-250m.

Vital also reported that a track mounted RC rig was about to arrive at site to test the previously untested Kollo Hill.

Further drill results are expected later this month.

Vital started the current quarter with A$1.8 million cash.

Last month it appointed capital markets executive Francis Harper as its non-executive chairman, with Harper the founder of Blackwood Capital and the former chairman and major shareholder of successful ASX-TSX listed Burkina Faso gold company West African Resources.

Shares in Vital were trading this week at 1.1c, capitalising the company at $11 million.
